Is Star Wars the New Religion

You may have seen his artwork in the windows of Atomic Toybot and The Tiny Record Shop in Leslieville and wondered, WTF?!
I was also curious about what inspires Toronto artist, Robert Farmer.
“What I choose to be influenced by is not usually found within the context of what is popular or acceptable,” explains Robert who will unveil his latest observations on society tonight at Project Gallery.
His new series, ORIGINAL SIN, explores the diminishing allure of organized religion versus new customs and beliefs associated with, in this case, Star Wars.
Tell him that sounds crazy and he’ll take it as a compliment.
Opening Reception @ Project Gallery, 1109 Queen St E, Toronto, Thursday April 2nd, 7-11p.m.
