RIVERSIDE | Your old books, hidden artwork, and never to be worn again jewelry are needed for the Toronto Humane Society’s annual yard sale and open house this year.
If you happen to be spring cleaning in the next little while, why not donate any unwanted items to a warm and fuzzy (with a cold wet nose) cause? All proceeds from The Toronto Humane Society’s yard sale on Saturday, June 2 in Riverside will help to ensure every abandoned cat and dog in Toronto has access to shelter, food, water, and necessary veterinary care. In addition to temporarily housing pets at 11 River Street and finding them permanent homes all over the city, the Toronto Humane Society also distributes pet food to pets whose owners are in need, offers subsidized vaccine clinics, and reduced fee spay and neuter programs for eligible cats and dogs throughout the year. For more information about the shelter including annual operating costs, and all the ways this organization helps abandoned pets check out the Toronto Humane Society’s 2017 annual report.
Got something you’d like to donate to the yard sale? Awesome! Email email@example.com for detailed drop-off instructions.
See you there!
